Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the operator of niuty.com ("niuty", "we", "us") collects about our own customers and website visitors, and how we use it. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Data your application sends through the Service — your end users' audio, video, transcripts and messages — is not covered by this policy. For that data you decide what is collected and why, and you are responsible for it under the Terms of Service. How the Service technically handles it is described in Data handling and privacy.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up or buy credit: your AWS account ID (used to identify and authenticate you), your email address, your credit balance, account status and timestamps.

Instance information. For each instance you provision: its hostname, IP address, region, API credentials, billing-cycle dates and status.

Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record. We receive an order reference linked to your account, not your card or bank details.

Contact form. The name, email address and message you submit, and the IP address it was sent from.

Technical and security data. IP addresses and AWS account IDs in short-lived records used to rate-limit and protect the Service, and operational logs of our backend services.

Instance connection logs. Your instance's relay server records connection details (room name, participant identity, IP address, client device info) as described in Data handling and privacy. These logs stay on your instance and are deleted with it.

Website. niuty.com does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The site stores only your light/dark theme preference in your own browser.

2. How we use it

  • to create and authenticate your account, and provision, bill and deprovision your instances;
  • to process payments and keep your credit balance accurate;
  • to respond to your messages and send you service-related notices;
  • to secure the Service, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce our Terms; and
  • to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the Service, under their own security and confidentiality obligations: cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, our payment provider, and an email delivery provider. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

4. Where it is processed

The Service runs in data centers in Singapore and the European Union, depending on the region you choose for your instance. Our providers may process data in other countries. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account, instance and payment records: while your account exists, and afterwards as long as needed for accounting, legal and dispute-resolution purposes.
  • Instance connection logs: until the instance is deprovisioned.
  • Rate-limiting records: a short time only.
  • Contact messages and operational logs: as long as reasonably needed to respond, operate and secure the Service.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by writing to us via the Contact page. We may need to verify your request, and we may keep information where the law requires or allows us to (for example, payment records). Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your AWS account, credential files and API keys secure.

8. Children

The Service is for businesses and developers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If your application serves children, you are responsible for that data and for all related obligations, as set out in section 3 of the Terms of Service.

9. Changes

We may update this policy by publishing a new version on this page; the "Last updated" date shows when. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept it.

10. Contact
